1060 DURABILITY DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION ENGINEER (9035)

Requisitos:
• Graduated in Engineering, preferably Mechanical;
• Have a proven experience with instrumentation (strain gauges and accelerometers), data acquisition and analysis (fatigue, vibration, and tests correlation);
• Experience in physical endurance (fatigue) tests in labs and proving grounds;
• Experience in simulation and virtual (structural) analysis;
• A strong customer and end-user mindset;
• Communicate well in English in both verbal and written skills (advanced level);
• Be available for travel (national and international);

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• Work experience in the automotive industry, preferably in durability analysis, design, and verification;
• Experience with setting requirements for components and systems;
• Experience using quality tools, FMEA to identify different failure modes and mitigation actions;
• Skills in post-treatment and analysis of measured/simulated durability data (proficiency in nCode);
• A valid driver's license, Category D or E.

Atividades:

• Specialize in durability in product development initiatives;
• Secure and drive the verification and validation components, systems, and the complete vehicle in close collaboration with the design departments;
• Identify actions and acceptance criteria to meet the project's durability targets and customer needs. Actions might include simulations, calculations, or specific tests, such as bench tests or complete vehicle tests;
• Support us in our effort to become even better by actively analyzing data, finding new ways to understand our customers' usage and their expectations regarding our vehicles, conducting measurements, bench testing, and calculations in virtual environments;
• Work together with the Test Engineering team to improve our methods and testing codes and identify verification needs for new technologies.
